In order for your product to last optimally through the years, Plumas suggests you follow the following care instructions: 

DOWN:

• Wash in water at least once a year.
• Use mild liquid soap and lukewarm temperature.
• Wash cycle = Delicate clothes.
• Consider an extra rinse and spin cycle to remove all water and soap residue.
• Use tumble dryer, ideally on a cool setting.
• Tip: Insert a dryer ball or tennis ball in the dryer to prevent the feather from clumping.

A good sign that it's time to wash your feather pillow or comforter is when it is beaten or shaken to make it inflate, not return to its original shape. Follow these suggestions to get your product back to like-new condition.

WHITE SHEETS / DUVET COVERS / WHITE COMFORTERS:

• Wash at 40°C, in gentle cycle and with neutral detergent.
• We do not recommend the use of fabric softener.
• It is forbidden to treat the article with bleach.
• Preferably air dry.
• Maximum ironing temperature of 150°C.

WHITE SHEETS / DUVET COVERS / WHITE COMFORTERS:

• Normal washing program at 30°C maximum.
• Wash and rinse with mechanical action and normal spin.
• We do not recommend the use of fabric softener.
• Preferably air dry.
• Maximum ironing temperature 150°C.

PRINTED FABRICS:

• Normal washing program at 40°C. Washing and rinsing with mechanical action and normal spin.
• Do not treat the article with bleach.
• Do not dry in a drum.
• Maximum ironing temperature 150°C.
• Do not dry treat.

PAJAMAS:

• We recommend washing it with cold water, mild detergent and together with garments of similar colors.
• Do not tumble dry. Dry in shade.
• Use iron at medium high temperature.

RUGS:

• For routine cleaning, recommended that you shake the carpet with a broom or carpet sweeper weekly.
• If your vacuum cleaner has a sweeper function it should be turned off.
• Powerful bagless vacuum cleaners are not recommended, as they may damage the carpet.
• Avoid vacuuming along the edges of the carpet.
• In case of spills, clean up immediately. Once a stain is set, it is more difficult to clean up.
• Blot spilled liquid with dry cotton cloth or clean paper towel. Never rub.
• Polypropylene / Polyester: mix a small amount of dish soap with cold water to help remove stains.
• Viscose / Tencel: never clean this carpet with any liquid.
• Professional cleaning is recommended if spills cannot be cleaned with household products.
